Alexander, a student at the Belarusian State Aviation Academy, was arrested on June 6, 2022 and convicted of, according to investigators, "systematically providing information to the Nexta Telegram channel."
He was released in September 2024 after serving his full sentence as determined by the court.
Trial outcome 22.07.2022: 2 years 6 months of imprisonment in colony under general regime conditions.
Appeal 07.10.2022: the sentence was upheld.
