In particular, Burunov sentenced transplant surgeon Alexey Alekseychik to two and a half years of imprisonment under general regime conditions for calling for restrictive measures (sanctions) or other actions aimed at harming the national security of the Republic of Belarus (Part 3 Article 361 of the Criminal Code). Alexey Alekseychik worked for more than 20 years as a transplantologist at the Republican Scientific and Practical Center for Pediatric Oncology and Hematology.
