She handed down punitive sentences in politically motivated cases. In total, she issued fines totaling at least 8,370 rubles and administrative arrest for at least 63 days. She tried activists for participating in the action, and when, after the verdict was announced, one of the convicts asked how she could challenge it without communication with the outside world, without paper, without a pen, Raevskaya replied: “That’s your problem.” The activist was also refused to call a lawyer. In trials, Raevskaya insisted that the defendants admit guilt, even if they did not participate in the rallies and did not know about them, and said that for this she would award a more lenient punishment. Raevskaya was angry in court when the detainee said that everything was in order and the whole country was happy with the election results.
