She sentenced Orsha resident Anton Bobrov to 2 years in prison. He was accused of insulting the president under Part 1 of Art. 368 of the Criminal Code. According to the prosecution, Bobrov twice left offensive comments about the President of Belarus in one of his telegram channels, which a linguistic examination considered an obscene form of speech. Convicted Artem Yuryevich Leshnevsky, a driver from Orsha, who was accused under Art. 369 of the Criminal Code (Insulting a representative of authority) for leaving an offensive comment on one of the social networks addressed to the Grodno traffic police officer Voiteshonka. On February 2, 2022, Artem was sentenced to two and a half years of restriction of freedom with a referral to an open-type correctional facility “chemistry with direction.” The defendant’s colleagues sent a petition to the court in which they asked that Artem Lyashnevsky be punished not with “specialized chemistry,” but with “household chemistry,” since there are not enough qualified machinists and the work team is vouching for him.
