On July 11, 2023, political prisoner Ales Pushkin died in a hospital in Grodno. He was taken there from the territory of Prison No. 1 in Grodno. As the head of this prison, he is responsible for the conditions of detention and the untimely provision of medical care to prisoners, which led to a tragic outcome. In particular, his actions clearly show disregard for the rights of prisoners, including for political reasons.

Nikita was convicted in December 2023 of "organizing and preparing actions that grossly violate public order, or actively participating in them" and sentenced to restricted freedom in an open facility. He pleaded not guilty at trial, explaining that he came to Sovetskaya Square on his way to the store, saw a crowd with white-red-white and red-green symbols, and assumed it was a rally in support of Lukashenko, so he joined. According to the case file, a photograph of him with the national flag was found on a Telegram channel, and a video recording of the march with white-red-white symbols was also presented, which the prosecution considers evidence of his participation.
The man called the district police and spoke against Lukashenko when he spoke to the duty officer. It is known that at that moment he was intoxicated. He had previously been tried for hooliganism and was brought to administrative responsibility several times.
On 29.02.2024, the appeal was heard. The verdict came into force.
In July 2024 , he was released, having fully served the sentence imposed by the court.
In January 2025, Gennady was again tried for insulting Lukashenko A.G.

On camera, the man said that his detention was related to his registration in the Peramoga plan chat bot, where he showed his military registration specialty (commander of the artillery reconnaissance unit, senior sergeant). When police officers inspected his mobile phone, they found subscriptions to Telegram channels recognized by the authorities as "extremist". Initially, the court arrested Viktor Zolotarevsky under the article on dissemination of extremist materials (Article 19.11 of the Code of Administrative Offenses), but later he was charged under criminal articles for registering in the chatbot "Plan Peramoga" and a video sent to the Telegram channel Nexta. The video showed a conversation between Ukrainian soldiers and relatives in Gomel.
Zolotarevsky lived in Minsk and worked in the carriage depot of the Minsk branch of the Belarusian Railways, living in a hostel.
After his arrest he was fired.
There is a possibility that he was released on pardon.
