He sentenced 50-year-old political prisoner Alexei Kireev, accusing him of organizing and preparing actions that grossly violate public order, or actively participating in them (Part 1 of Article 342 of the Criminal Code) for participating in protests. Volk sentenced the activist to 2 years of imprisonment to be served in a colony under general regime conditions. Tried two Minsk residents for participation in protests: Sergei Zhoglo and Vitaly Rybakov under Part 1 of Article 342 of the Criminal Code (participation in group actions that grossly violate public order) and sentenced them to two years and one year and eight months in a colony under general conditions, respectively. He made a decision in the case of a resident of Change Square - political prisoner Stepan Latypov. He was accused under three articles of the Criminal Code: parts 1, 2 of Article 342, part 2 of Article 363, part 4 of Article 209 (“organizing mass riots,” “resistance to police officers” and “fraud”). He was accused of creating a yard Telegram chat, a workshop for the production of protest symbols, and resisting police officers during arrest. Evgeny was detained on February 26, 2021.
