Aleksandr Osipovich is now 48 years old. He is a product of the Minsk Dynamo youth system. At the adult level, Osipovich first played for the Dynamo farm team in D2, from where he was called up to the youth team (he eventually played 15 matches there). He made his debut for the main team of the "white-blues" in mid-1997 - he began to appear regularly in the lineup, and the team won the championship title. Later in his career, he played for Lithuanian "Zalgiris", Polish "Zagłębie", as well as other clubs in Belarus and neighboring countries. After finishing his career, Osipovich became a football agent and also worked as a "football tutor".

At the end of 2022, Alexander was detained by "security forces" in Minsk. Later, human rights activists managed to find out that on January 9, 2023, Osipovich was "tried" under the article under which they punished for "insulting" Alexander Lukashenko (now they have added his family members there). The "sentence" was passed by Oleg Kalyada, who has more than one "political" case under his belt.

According to human rights activists, he has already been released.
