Alexander was detained and convicted for allegedly running over a traffic police officer in Zhlobin.
On the night of August 10-11, 2020, he was getting ready to go on a trip, but agreed to give his friends a ride to the city center. He was unable to get there — a traffic jam started on one of the streets. Police officers pulled people out of their cars. During the arrest, Deputy Chief of the Zhlobin District Department of Internal Affairs Dmitry Dedyun hung on the window of his car and fell when the car started moving.
He was released in June 2024, having fully served his sentence as determined by the court.
