She served as investigator for political prisoners Polina Sharendo-Panasyuk, Viktoria Kulsha, Elena Gnauk, and Olga Mayorova in a criminal case brought under Article 411—"malicious disobedience to the demands of the administration of a correctional facility," a charge often applied to prisoners who refused to cooperate with prison administration.
