The court sentenced Daniil to mandatory security measures and treatment in the form of compulsory treatment in a psychiatric hospital with enhanced supervision.
In February 2025, a court hearing was held regarding the modification of compulsory security and treatment measures. The outcome of the hearing is unknown.

In January 2022, Dmitry was convicted again of "insulting a government official" for a comment left under a photograph of Interior Ministry spokesperson Olga Chemodanova. The final sentence was determined by combining the lesser sentence with the more severe one.
