According to the case file, in January 2022, Matyrko tore the flagpole from the building of the Krasnopolsky district node of electric networks and threw it on the snow. After that, he picked up the flag and took it to his home, where he burned it in a heating furnace.

Pavel has a disability, he has stage four cancer. His condition noticeably worsened in custody, the inflammatory process began. In July 2022, during the medical rehabilitation expert commission, Pavel was assigned the first disability group - before that he had a disability of the second group.
Pavel is a Catholic believer. Together with his sister, they constantly went to divine services in the Molodechno church. The young man is very fond of music, he graduated from a music school in the piano class.
At the end of September 2022, Pavel was transferred to the republican hospital on «Volodarsky», where he will stay until the diagnosis for cancer patients. In this hospital, people are not in wards, but in ordinary cells adapted to medical needs.
Andrei was detained in February and was not released after administrative arrest. In April, it became known that he was released from the pre-trial detention center on bail. He was taken into custody on April 12, 2022.
