On the evening of August 9, 2020, Veresov, together with Kharyanov, took part in active group actions that grossly violated public order, blocked the streets and thereby impeded the operation of public passenger transport and city institutions. They were detained for three days on August 11, 2021 and placed in a temporary detention center. Before the trial, the defendants were under house arrest. Both are taken into custody in the courtroom.
