Vitaly was tried for a comment left on 08/16/2020 under a video with Karaev (then Interior Minister), with the words "you are a criminal", and containing "a statement expressed in an obscene form of speech expression" . In addition, Vitaly was also tried under Part 1 of Article 368 (insulting the President). On August 9, 2020, Vitaliy left a comment on the Internet about the "preliminary voting results" that had already appeared, according to which Alexander Lukashenko was ahead of his rivals by a wide margin. He expressed his assessment of such results, again, using "abnormal forms of speech expression" . He has been serving his sentence since December 11, 2021.
