It follows from the materials of the prosecution that Yuri in the «STOP LUKA» community, which is recognized as an extremist formation, posted an image of a red-green flag against the background of Nazi symbols (swastikas), the semantic content of the image of which is the author's opinion that Nazi ideology is used in the administration of the Republic of Belarus. Yuri did not actually admit his guilt in court, he explained that he did not intend to mock the national flag and only accidentally liked it.
Initially, an administrative case was brought against Yuri under Part 2 of Article 19.11 of the Administrative Code and punished with a fine, and later a criminal case was also initiated. Yuri has a minor child
