On 27 February 2022, Santa was detained in the Pershamaiski district of Minsk for photographing her ballot at a polling station and sentenced to 15 days of administrative arrest, which she served in Zhodzina. She was not released after the arrest: photos from the 2020 protests were found on her phone, and she was kept in custody in a criminal case. Her husband Uladzimir Dalshou was detained over the same photos. Santa was held at Akrestsina and then transferred to pre-trial detention center No. 1.
In July 2022, Santa and her husband were found guilty in a criminal case opened under the article "Organisation and preparation of actions that grossly violate public order, or active participation in them" for taking part in the post-election protests held in Minsk in 2020, and were sentenced to restricted freedom without referral to an open-type correctional facility.
