Shortly after returning home, he was detained by employees of the Main Directorate for Combating Organized Crime and Corruption. The comments for which he is accused are dated 2020.
Perhaps the guy was found out a long time ago and started a case against him, but they waited until he returned to Belarus to detain him. Law enforcement officials claim that «he faces from 5 to 12 years in prison» — probably we are talking about a criminal case for «Incitement hostility and discord».
