Oleg is an entrepreneur in the roofing business. He specializes in making domes for Orthodox churches. He has been working in this field since the 2000s, starting out as a hired hand in a team and then opening his own business.
Oleg participated in the reconstruction of the dome of the Patriarchal Representation of the Russian Orthodox Church, created a dome for the church of a military unit in Slonim, and also carried out work in Stankovo, building an oak bridge, a pier and gazebo on an island next to Count Hutten-Chapski's estate, and a chapel at the zoo. His projects have been completed in various towns and villages across Belarus.
He was found guilty of several criminal charges, including "inciting hatred or discord," and sentenced to restricted freedom and sent to a correctional facility.
He was released on March 20, 2026, as part of a pardon following another visit to Minsk by US President Donald Trump's special representative, John Cole.
