In January 2024, the KGB designated the "Fund of Belarus Friend LTD" as an extremist organization, implicating Oleg Stefanovich, Allan Roy, and Alexander Syritsa. Allan and Alexander were sentenced to prison and later released following a visit to Minsk by Keith Kellogg, Special Representative of US President Donald Trump.
Nothing was known about Oleg Stefanovich's fate. In May 2026, he was added to the extremist list after his sentence came into effect.
Once the sentence takes effect, you can only write letters to the prisoner. Under Art. 85 of the Penal Code of Belarus, convicts cannot receive money transfers from anyone other than close relatives. Parcels are also only possible from relatives. If you want to help, support the family directly if this option is available on the prisoner's page.
