Nikolai, a technician at the Institute of Powder Metallurgy, was arrested in July 2021 in a criminal case related to the "Busly Lyatsyats" initiative. Some of the charges involved damaging the car of a Borisov district judge. As a result, he was sentenced to a long prison term and a fine.
Nikolai had previously been arrested after attempting to file a complaint with the Central Election Commission on July 16, 2020, where his front tooth was knocked out.
Once the sentence takes effect, you can only write letters to the prisoner. Under Art. 85 of the Penal Code of Belarus, convicts cannot receive money transfers from anyone other than close relatives.
