Evgeny Vasilevsky and Alexander Sazonov were detained almost a year ago - on February 27, 2022 in Minsk, and on March 1, both were punished with administrative arrest under Article 24.23 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Belarus (violation of the procedure for organizing or holding mass events).
The Pervomaisky District Court of Minsk sentenced Sazonov to 13 days of arrest and Vasilevsky to 15 days for participating in a protest against the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
The essence of the accusation is still unknown. Probably, we are talking about the transfer of personal data of security forces to protest chats.
In the fall of 2023, he was released upon expiration of his sentence.
