Evgeny is a native of Orsha, winner of the Republican Olympiad in history and a graduate of the history department of BSU.
In 2020, he was detained and beaten during protests in Minsk, after which he was fined for "participating in an unauthorized event."
In 2022, he was charged again under the same article: a court in Orsha sentenced him to 15 days in jail for a photo on social media featuring a Pahonia T-shirt.
In 2025, a new criminal case was opened against him, allegedly for filming the movements of military equipment, and he was sentenced to restricted freedom with direction.
