Boris was arrested in October 2021 on charges of organizing or actively participating in group actions that grossly violate public order and was placed in pretrial detention.
The basis for initiating a criminal case was a banal denunciation from one of his former friends, who, after seeing his photo on Instagram against the backdrop of a protest, forwarded it to the police some time later.
On December 29, 2021, he was convicted of participating in the post-election protests that took place in Minsk in 2020. Minsktrans also filed a financial claim in court for damages to public transportation caused by the service disruption. Boris decided to pay the claim before the verdict.
