A criminal case was opened because of a protest action on September 13 in Brest, when people danced at the intersection of Masherova and boulevards, after which they were dispersed by a water cannon and detentions began. The actions of the protesters are qualified by the investigation as "Actions grossly violating public order" (Article 342 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus).
