Alexander was found guilty in February 2022 of a criminal case brought under the article on insulting a government official for a comment posted on the social network Odnoklassniki about Andrei Komar, a senior district police officer in Bobruisk, whom he called "Judas."
In addition to the restriction of freedom, the court ordered Alexander to pay compensation for moral damages.
