Vitaly was convicted for a comment about Lukashenko that investigators deemed offensive and sentenced to imprisonment in a penal colony.
In June 2022, he was placed in solitary confinement twice: the first time for five days, after which he was transferred to a new unit for "malicious violators of the regime," and a few days later for ten days. In July of that year, it was announced that Vitaly had been transferred to a cell-type facility for five months, remaining on his sentence.
He was released in December 2022, having fully served his sentence.
After his release, Vitaly left Belarus because, when he was registered, the first deputy head of the Kobrin District Department of Internal Affairs, Alexander Kosyak, threatened that next time he would be imprisoned with his wife.
In November 2023, it became known that a new criminal case had been opened against Vitaly for “assisting extremist activity.”

Alexey was arrested in March 2021 and convicted of "inciting hatred or discord" for comments on the social network VKontakte, with a prison sentence.
In September 2021, as part of a pardon, he was transferred from the penal colony to an open-type correctional facility. On November 29, 2021, it was announced that Alexei had left the penal colony and left Belarus.
In late October 2022, reports emerged of his detention in Russia. It was reported that Alexei first went to Smolensk to visit relatives, then moved to Belgorod, and after the war began, he moved to Voronezh, where he was detained by police. Alexander is an activist in the anarchist movement. He first studied construction at college, then majored in engineering geodesy at the Belarusian National Technical University. He has been passionate about sports since his youth: he played for a DIY league football team, practiced Muay Thai, and went mountaineering.
Early in the morning of July 29, 2021, Alexander was detained as he left his home. He was beaten and searched during his arrest, then taken to the Main Directorate for Combating Organized Crime and Corruption, where he was tortured and beaten.
He was initially accused of actively participating in a protest on August 23, 2020, in Minsk, although by that time he had already served an administrative arrest for this incident.
In January 2022, Alexander and other defendants in the criminal case were charged with additional membership in an extremist group for subscribing to the Telegram channel "Pramen." At the time of their arrest, the channel "Pramen" had not yet been added to the list of extremist groups; this was only added in November 2021.
In April 2022, he was found guilty and sentenced to imprisonment in a penal colony. In April 2025, Alexander's detention regime was tightened, and he was transferred to a prison regime. It was later revealed that the court had sentenced him to an additional six months in a general regime penal colony for "malicious disobedience to the administration's demands."
Released in the spring of 2026 after fully serving the sentence imposed by the court.

Nikolai is a Belarusian politician and the chairman of the United Civil Party. He was first convicted on August 6, 2021, and sentenced to three months in jail for "disclosing investigative data in the Coordination Council case." He served his full sentence and was released on March 26, 2022.
On July 27, 2022, Nikolai was again detained in connection with a criminal case opened under the article "organizing and preparing actions that grossly violate public order, or actively participating in them." According to the investigation, as stated by Sergei Pasko, head of the Investigative Committee's Minsk office, in August 2020, he allegedly took an active part in mass unrest in Minsk, directing the radical crowd, giving instructions to protesters, and calling for roadblocks and obstructing the movement of vehicles.
In November 2022, Nikolai was found guilty and sentenced to imprisonment.
In July 2024, he was released, having fully served his sentence imposed by the court.

Pavel had previously been subjected to political persecution. In 2008, he was implicated in the so-called "Case of the Fourteen," initiated for participating in a business rally, and was sentenced to two years of restricted freedom without a prison sentence. Since 2010, Pavel has been an activist for the "Tell the Truth" campaign.
Following a protest against election fraud, he was arrested on January 5, 2011. He was accused of organizing and participating in mass riots, as well as desecrating state symbols. In May 2011, the court sentenced him to four years in a maximum-security penal colony. That fall, Pavel was released under a pardon.
Pavel was arrested again on December 22, 2021, at his home in Berezino, in connection with a criminal case opened under charges of "inciting social discord," "defamation of Lukashenko," and "organizing and preparing actions that grossly violate public order, or active participation in them." In March 2022, he was sentenced to imprisonment.
In December 2023, Pavel's detention conditions were tightened and he was transferred to a prison regime.
On September 11, 2025, it was announced that 52 prisoners of the Belarusian regime had been forcibly transferred to Lithuania, including citizens of European countries. Pavel was among those released.

Sergei, a retired lieutenant colonel who participated in a video message from reserve officers to the Belarusian military, was detained on July 16, 2021, following a search of his home.
According to Lukashenko's decree, he was stripped of his military rank after 28 years of impeccable service in the Armed Forces. Sergei is a father of four children, two of whom are minors.
In December 2021, he was charged with organizing, preparing, or actively participating in actions that grossly violate public order. Sergei was sentenced to restricted freedom without being sent to a correctional facility and released in the courtroom.
He was convicted again in October 2025. The appellate court sent the case back for retrial. Ultimately, during the retrial, the case was dismissed due to the statute of limitations, and Sergei was released from the courtroom.

Vyacheslav, an English teacher at Svisloch Secondary School No. 2, was accused of slandering Lukashenko. On August 20, 2020, the leadership of the Svisloch Executive Committee organized a meeting with residents, which Vyacheslav attended. It was the executive committee leadership that accused him of slandering Lukashenko at this meeting.
On June 30, 2021, the court sentenced Vyacheslav to imprisonment, and he was taken into custody in the courtroom.

Aleksander, a football player for the Krumkachyov club, a journalist for Tribuna.com and the author of the YouTube channel ChestnOK, was detained at home on June 3, 2021. He was sentenced to 30 days of administrative arrest under Article 24.23 of the Code of Administrative Offenses - allegedly for the flag on the window, but after serving his term he was not released and transferred to a pre-trial detention center in a criminal case on "organizing and preparing actions that grossly violate public order."
