Natalia was first convicted in January 2023 for an online comment under the article "insulting a government official" and sentenced to one and a half years of restricted freedom, known as "house arrest."
In September of that year, Natalia was arrested again and convicted on a new criminal charge, accused of "financing extremist activity" for supporting political prisoners through money transfers.
On December 13, 2025,she was released after another visit to Minsk by US President Donald Trump's special representative, Keith Kellogg, and taken to Ukraine.
