Aleksei Valeryevich Kaminski is an employee of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus who takes part in investigations in politically motivated cases against citizens who express disagreement with Alexander Lukashenka’s regime. In the course of his work, he has been involved in fabricating charges and persecuting participants in peaceful protests, journalists and activists after the 2020 presidential election. Kaminski’s actions have thus contributed to human rights violations and to strengthening the state’s repressive apparatus.
