According to human rights activists , the son of politician Anatoly Lebedko is accused of financing extremist activities. Artem was detained in late March and subsequently sentenced to two 15-day arrests, after which he was charged and transferred to Pretrial Detention Center No. 1.

According to the prosecution, in 2020, "motivated by ideological hatred," Lebedko made several money transfers over the phone using a bank account to three foundations designated as "extremist groups." A Ukrainian citizen born in Chernihiv. Zakharenko is also charged in the case with Larisa Krupa. The women are charged with failure to report a crime (Part 2 of Article 406 of the Criminal Code) and espionage (Article 358 of the Criminal Code). The trial will be held behind closed doors.
