Zhanna Mikhailovna Kobova is an employee of the Minsk City Department of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus, an institution involved in politically motivated repression against citizens. In her official capacity, Kobova handled the paperwork and administrative support of cases brought against participants in peaceful protests and civic activists after the 2020 presidential election in the Republic of Belarus. In doing so, she helped keep running a system aimed at persecuting citizens for political reasons.
