Occupying the position of a judge, which is approved personally by Lukashenko, is an employee of the judicial system of the Republic of Belarus, supporting the Lukashenko regime and politically motivated repressions in Belarus. Latyshev Aleksey Aleksandrovich is a judge involved in the issuance of politically motivated court decisions, according to which at least 3 days of administrative arrest were appointed. On May 8, 2024, he sentenced a 40-year-old resident of the city of Krichev, Fyodor Nikolaevich Motorin under Part 2 of Article 367 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus. The accused, being a registered user of the social network "Odnoklassniki", deliberately posted in the main section of the page he used in the public domain by putting the rating "Class", an image and text containing deliberately false thoughts that disgrace Lukashenko. He did not restrict access to viewing it by Internet users. The sentence is restriction of freedom with referral to an open-type correctional facility for a period of 3 years and 6 months.
