He handed down guilty verdicts in politically motivated cases, where he imposed penalties in the form of a fine totaling at least 245 basic units and administrative arrest for a total period of at least 36 days. On May 24, 2016, Lukashevich Yuri was found guilty under Article 23.4 of the Code of Administrative Offenses and sentenced to a fine of 15 basic units for participating in the founding meeting of the Belarusian National Congress. On April 18, 2016, Dmitry Kremenetsky was found guilty under Part 1 of Article 23.34 of the Code of Administrative Offenses and sentenced him to a fine of 20 basic units for participating in a picket in support of the Ukrainian pilot Nadezhda Savchenko.
