Andrei was accused of participating in protests in Minsk in 2020, blocking public transportation, using a white-red-white ribbon, and making a victory gesture. He was identified by photographs he took at the protest and posted on VKontakte. He fully admitted his guilt. The prosecutor filed a lawsuit against Andrei against Minsktrans seeking damages in the amount of 86,515 rubles. The lawsuit was heard as a civil case, and the exact amount of compensation awarded is unknown.
