According to human rights activists , the son of politician Anatoly Lebedko is accused of financing extremist activities. Artem was detained in late March and subsequently sentenced to two 15-day arrests, after which he was charged and transferred to Pretrial Detention Center No. 1.

According to the investigation, between May 1, 2020, and May 23, 2022, Shumilov published four posts on Odnoklassniki containing satirical images, which the investigation considered insulting Lukashenko and government officials, as well as slandering Lukashenko. The Main Directorate for Combating Organized Crime and Corruption (GUBOPiK) arrested brother and sister Mikhail and Alexandra Alexandrovich Razuvanovfor participating in protests . According to GUBOPiK, Mikhail and Alexandra participated in post-election protests in 2020. According to security officials, a criminal case has been opened against the brother and sister.

On June 23, 2023, an appeal court hearing was held, and the verdict came into force.

According to human rights activists, Mikhail was again detained in Pretrial Detention Center No. 1 in April 2024. This may be related to a new criminal case.
