Vadim was detained, severely beaten and later convicted for participating in a protest that took place on August 9, 2020 in Minsk against the results of the presidential elections.

Alexey is a Belarusian MMA fighter, multiple world champion in kickboxing and Thai boxing, and Honored Master of Sports of Belarus. He was detained on August 10, 2020, on the central square in Molodechno. After two weeks in the police department and pretrial detention center, he was released under house arrest. When Alexey failed to appear for his first court hearing on November 19, 2020, he was put on the wanted list.
In January 2021, he was detained in Moscow and six months later extradited to Belarus, despite a ban by the European Court of Human Rights. Alexey was convicted on charges of resisting police officers.
