The grounds for the verdict were perjury by traffic police officers and fabricated reports, since in their opinion the accused was involved in protest activity. On November 26, 2020, during the consideration of an administrative case against one of the applicants, the judge of the Frunzensky District Court of Minsk, Nikolai Yuryevich Bogomyakov, made a deliberately unlawful court decision. This decision was made despite obvious contradictions in the written explanations of the police officers, which is a violation of the law.
