Peter was accused of insulting a government official on the Odnoklassniki social network. The victim at that time was the deputy head of the Kobrin district police department for ideological work and personnel, police lieutenant colonel Viktor Turchinovich. Peter wrote one word: “shit.” At the trial he did not admit guilt.
According to human rights activists, Peter should have served his sentence in full and been released.
