Aleksandr Aleksandrovich Kamenets supports the Lukashenko regime and politically motivated repression. On January 11, 2021, he served as the state prosecutor in the case of 16-year-old Aleksandr Nesteruk, accused of desecrating state symbols for removing a flag from the Drogichin Community Center. Kamenets asked the court to find Nesteruk guilty of committing a crime under Article 370 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus and sentence him to six months of restricted freedom without being sent to a correctional facility.
