Ruslana Albertovna Senko is involved in politically motivated repressions in the Republic of Belarus. Senko is responsible for the fact that, as a judge of the Brest Regional Court, he makes politically motivated sentences against representatives of civil society of the Republic of Belarus. As a result of her decisions, Belarusians who did not support the current regime in the country were sentenced to various terms of imprisonment. In particular, on December 31, 2021, she sentenced political prisoner, blogger Yuri Chudinovych to four years in prison under maximum security conditions. In 2022, Senko made a decision to imprison Dmitry Lagodich under general regime conditions for a period of 3 years and 6 months in the so-called “Zeltzer case.” On November 3, 2022, Ruslana Senko sentenced businessman from Brest Sergei Matyukhevich to three years’ imprisonment in a penal colony under general regime conditions for messages on the Internet. Thus, Ruslana Albertovna Senko is responsible for promoting repression against representatives of civil society and the democratic opposition. Her work within the judiciary is focused on maintaining the position of the existing government, rather than on enforcing the law. Senko’s actions contribute to human rights violations and increased politically motivated repression in the Republic of Belarus.

In the 2020 elections, he tried to register as a presidential candidate, but the Central Election Commission refused him.
Before the 2020 elections, he began actively running the YouTube channel "Tochka nevozvrata" (currently has 43.3 thousand subscribers). In particular, statements from this channel formed the basis of the criminal case against Chudinovich. In July 2021, the man was placed in custody. On May 1, 2022, he was transferred to a closed prison.
According to human rights activists , he will be released in March 2025.
| 26.01.2024 | Перед тюрьмой у него была проблема с ногами, возможно суставы - он ходил с подлокотным костылем. Жаловался, что состояние ухудшилось после ШИЗО, куда его помешали накануне. Когда его вели на ПКТ у него костыль забрали. Видели как он выходил, держась рукой за стену общежития. Из разговоров с ним он сказал, что его жену убили, а дочь похитили (намекая, видимо, что его жена умерла в больнице из-за низкого уровня медицины, а дочь, оставленную без попечителей, отправили в интернат). |
