She issued guilty verdicts on politically motivated articles. She sentenced Mogilev resident Pavel Belogolov, who was accused of insulting a government official under Article 369 of the Criminal Code and discrediting the Republic of Belarus under Article 369-1 of the Criminal Code for comments on a social network. Kochegarova sentenced the man to imprisonment for two years and six months in a general regime penal colony and a fine of 100 basic units.
