Mikhail Petrovich Bedunkevich is an employee of law enforcement agencies involved in politically motivated repressions, during which thousands of peaceful demonstrators, several hundred journalists, human rights defenders, and activists were detained and subjected to violence. Bedunkevich personally participated in the violent suppression of peaceful protests, using physical and psychological violence against participants. He filed a lawsuit against student Alexei Mochalov for insulting him in a Telegram chat. Alexei was sentenced to 1.5 years of restricted freedom without being sent to an open correctional facility. Bedunkevich violated the law and used his position to persecute and suppress the expression of political opinions.
