Accomplice In Crimes Against The Rights And Freedoms Of Belarusian Citizens Aleksandr Mikhailovich Kosyak Is An Officer Of Law Enforcement Agencies Involved In Politically Motivated Repressions, During Which Thousands Of Peaceful Protesters, Several Hundred Journalists, Human Rights Defenders, And Activists Were Detained And Subjected To Violence In Response To A Complaint About A Falsified Report Drawn Up By His Subordinates, Kosyak Demanded That The Citizen "Withdraw The Complaint, Pay The Minimum Fine, And That's It" He Added That He Understood Perfectly Well That His Subordinates Were Wrong, But That They Could Not Be Punished, And The Citizen "Must Understand This" When The Citizen Refused, He Bluntly Stated That He Would "Make Him Regret It" Kosyak Then Pursued The Citizen And Secured His Conviction In Court Before The Detainee Was Sent To A Correctional Facility, Kosyak Uttered The Following Statement: "If My Name Comes Up Anywhere, We'll Come And Bury You" After The Citizen's Release And During His Registration, Kosyak's Threat Was Repeated In The Presence Of Lomako And Amended: "If The Law Has Hindered Us In Some Cases Before, Now I Will Put You And Your Wife In Jail By Any Illegal Means Possible No One Will Stop Me, And I Won't Face Any Consequences This Is My City, And You Will Not Cause Trouble Here Anymore This Hand Fed You, And Now You've Started To Gnaw On This Hand"

Vitaly was convicted for a comment about Lukashenko that investigators deemed offensive and sentenced to imprisonment in a penal colony.
In June 2022, he was placed in solitary confinement twice: the first time for five days, after which he was transferred to a new unit for "malicious violators of the regime," and a few days later for ten days. In July of that year, it was announced that Vitaly had been transferred to a cell-type facility for five months, remaining on his sentence.
He was released in December 2022, having fully served his sentence.
After his release, Vitaly left Belarus because, when he was registered, the first deputy head of the Kobrin District Department of Internal Affairs, Alexander Kosyak, threatened that next time he would be imprisoned with his wife.
In November 2023, it became known that a new criminal case had been opened against Vitaly for “assisting extremist activity.”
