Accomplice to crimes against the rights and freedoms of citizens of Belarus. Veronika Valeryevna Abzalimova supports the Lukashenko regime and politically motivated repression. Involved in the issuance of guilty verdicts in politically motivated criminal cases. On March 5, 2024, she issued a guilty verdict against Elena Kasperovich, accused of publicly insulting a government official, under Article 369 of the Criminal Code. Abzalimova sentenced the woman to one year and six months of restricted freedom without being sent to an open-type correctional facility, as well as a fine of 50 basic units. On March 7, 2024, she issued a guilty verdict against Andrei Gerasimenko and Natalia Gerasimenko under Part 1 of Article 342 of the Criminal Code and sentenced both to two years and six months of restricted freedom without being sent to an open-type correctional facility. The couple were accused of participating in one of the peaceful protests in Minsk in 2020.
