Natalia Shostachuk was inactive and refused to act as a public prosecutor in cases related to crimes committed by law enforcement officers, but she acted as a public prosecutor in the case of Yuri Venichuk, who was found guilty of insulting Lukashenko. The police officers beat the man so much that they broke his ribs and jaw. He was sentenced to 7 days of administrative arrest, but the temporary detention facility refused to accept him. Shostachuk achieved a sentence of 1.5 years of restricted freedom for Yuri with referral to an open-type correctional facility.

Stanislav was arrested in September 2021 as part of a criminal case opened following spontaneous protests that took place in Brest from August 10 to 11, 2020, against the falsification of the presidential elections.

In January 2022, he was convicted of participating in "mass riots" and sentenced to imprisonment in a maximum-security penal colony. He was accused of intentionally breaking paving slabs while preparing "instruments of crime." He was also charged with causing physical harm, in the form of two wounds to the thumb of Igor Kalyagin's right hand, and "beating" other victims.

He was released in the summer of 2024, having fully served his sentence.

Alexander was arrested in September 2021 as part of a criminal case opened under the article "hooliganism" and remanded in custody pending trial.

In December 2021, he was convicted of writing red and white graffiti and declaring his love for presidential candidate Svetlana Tikhanovskaya and sentenced to restricted freedom in an open correctional facility.

In June 2022, the court ordered an increase in the sentence, replacing the restriction of freedom with imprisonment to be served in a penal colony until the end of the sentence.

Alexander was released in February 2023, having fully served his sentence.

After his release, the persecution against Alexander did not stop; he was repeatedly subjected to searches and administrative arrests for “picketing.”

In the summer of 2023, he was placed in pretrial detention on a new criminal case, and in December of that year, he was found guilty of "rehabilitation of Nazism" and "hooliganism," and sentenced to imprisonment in a penal colony.

According to human rights activists, he was released in the spring of 2026, having fully served his sentence.

Yuri was convicted in a criminal case opened under the article on insulting Lukashenko. The reason for the prosecution was his telephone call to the police on September 3, 2020, after the death of Gennady Shutov, whom Yuri knew personally. According to him, while intoxicated, he decided to speak out about what was happening and called 102.

On the same day, Yuri was detained. During the detention, law enforcement officers used physical force against him, as a result of which he suffered broken ribs and a broken jaw. He was also given an administrative penalty - 7 days of arrest. At the court hearing, he said that he did not file a complaint about the beating, considering himself "unworthy of attention" and adding that "he knew what he got it for." Yuri admitted his guilt in full.

He was released in December 2022, having fully served his sentence as determined by the court.

Alexander was twice brought to administrative responsibility for posting leaflets and was convicted because, according to the state prosecution, they contained information of an offensive nature regarding an employee of the Leninsky District Department of Internal Affairs of Brest, which became the basis for a criminal case.

Alexander managed to leave Belarus before he began serving his sentence.

In December 2024, a court hearing was held in absentia to replace the restriction of freedom with imprisonment in a penal colony.
