Occupying the position of a judge, which is approved personally by Lukashenko, is an employee of the judicial system of the Republic of Belarus, supporting the Lukashenko regime and politically motivated repressions in Belarus. Kartinin Pavel Nikolaevich is a judge involved in the issuance of politically motivated court decisions, according to which at least 10 years of imprisonment were assigned. Kartinin found political prisoner Yevgeny Propolsky guilty under Article 411 of the Criminal Code (malicious disobedience to the demands of the colony administration) and assigned him, in addition to eight years in the colony, another year and a half of imprisonment.
