Zhechko Pavel Nikolaevich was involved in politically motivated repressions in Belarus as a judge in the Minsk district court. He has brought convictions in politically motivated cases since 2017. Issued fines totaling at least 4,969 rubles and sentenced him to at least 52 days of administrative arrest. He tried the defenders of Kurapaty, including the politician Pavel Sevyarynets, who was found guilty under two articles of the Code of Administrative Offenses - “petty hooliganism” and “disobedience to the legal request of an official” and sentenced to 15 days of arrest. Under the same articles, Nina Baginskaya was sentenced to 50 basic fines. At the beginning of 2022, he resigned from his position as a judge.
