At the trial, Alexey agreed that he transported and stored this mixture, but denied making it. According to him, he stored and used it for personal household needs. He acted as the state prosecutor in the case of a 39-year-old resident of the city of Baranovichi, who was accused of insulting a government official in connection with the performance of his official duties under Article 369 of the Criminal Code and sentenced to restriction of freedom for a period of 1 year and 6 months, without sending her to an open correctional facility. The woman also paid financial compensation for moral suffering in connection with her comment on the Internet. Reported to the police about protests, namely about the placement of white-red-white flags in the city of Minsk.
