Yulia Viktorovna Yagovdik supports the Lukashenko regime and politically motivated repression in Belarus. On January 22, 2021, she served as the state prosecutor in the case of Yekaterina Salevich's mother, who was found guilty under Article 369 of the Criminal Code for reposting a photo and personal information of a riot police officer on the Telegram channel "Slonim for Life." Yekaterina also left a comment under the post, identifying the officer as "Paracetomol." The woman was sentenced to one year of restricted freedom without being sent to an open correctional facility and 1,000 rubles in compensation for moral damages to the victim.
