Nikolai Aleksandrovich Atrakhimovich is involved in politically motivated repressions in the Republic of Belarus. Atrakhimovich is responsible for the fact that, as a judge of the Oktyabrsky District Court of the city of Vitebsk, he handed down politically motivated sentences against representatives of civil society of the Republic of Belarus. In particular, in November 2020, he found the Vitebsk activist guilty of petty hooliganism and decided to fine him 15 basic units. In 2022, Atrakhimovich sentenced a resident of Vitebsk to 10 days of administrative arrest for a “picket” with the “Pahonia” coat of arms, which was placed on his white jacket. The size of the coat of arms is 38 by 26 centimeters. Thus, Atrakhimovich Nikolai Alexandrovich is responsible for facilitating repression against representatives of civil society and the democratic opposition.
