Viktor Iosifovich Baliko is involved in politically motivated repressions in the Republic of Belarus. In particular, in 2022, a judge sentenced a resident of Polotsk to four years of restriction of freedom without being sent to an open institution and a fine of 3,200 rubles for comments on the Internet.
