He handed down guilty verdicts in politically motivated cases, where he imposed penalties in the form of a fine totaling at least 65 basic units. On August 8, 2020, he handed down a sentence with a fine of 30 basic units to Sergei Rendov under Article 23.34 of the Code of Administrative Offenses for alleged participation in an unauthorized mass event. The accusation was based only on the testimony of employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. On August 10, 2020, he handed down a sentence with a fine of 35 basic units to pensioner Larisa Vladimirovna for participating in an unauthorized mass event, resisting police officers and refusing to undress during a search. The Ministry of Internal Affairs officers demanded that the woman strip naked and take off her cross.
